This is great advice for all of us but particularly those of us that are cancer survivors.  It is not easy to walk through the valley and keep motivated but it is good practice and now research bears it out.  Set new goals for yourself, don’t keep looking back but relish today.  I recently read a story of a woman who was given 18 months to live and ended up living 4 years but after 18 months she became so paralyzed with fear and depression that she became a recluse.  All of us can take each day as it comes and relish the good in it.
